A "No Call, No Show" (NCNS) is when an employee fails to attend their shift without calling their employer to let them know in advance of their absence. An NCNS is a strict violation of the Intelycare Terms and Agreements, a copy of which is available in the app. It can be found in the IntelyPro handbook located under "Trainings and Courses" and then select " Optional." You must call out or release your shift if you are unable to attend to avoid being marked as NCNS.
A thoughtful decision was made regarding adding these last-minute shift releases due to patient safety concerns. These shifts are very hard to find timely replacements for, leaving the facility short-staffed and patients not properly cared for.
No matter what, it is important that you formally call out or release your shift if you are unable to attend to avoid being marked as NCNS so that we can try our best to ensure there is backup coverage for facilities.
If you have done an NCNS, your Quality Score will decrease. Your account will remain active so that you can complete more shifts and increase your Quality Score.
